This certified organic cask-aged balsamic is from Modena, Italy. It is made from acetified grape-must matured using the Solera method of blending, transferring the vinegar between a succession of high-quality wooden barrels.
A 25-year refinement process in high-quality wood results in a rich and assertive balsamic with a deep rich color and a thick, fluid consistency. The aroma is penetrating and persistent. With port and madeira undertones, it is a true classic balsamic taste.

It can be used as a dressing for salads, a marinade or glaze for meats or vegetables, over your favorite fruit or ice cream.
